Foundations of Yoga – 2 Hour Beginner and Refresher Course

Over two hours we will slow everything down and walk you through the foundational yoga poses step by step so you can feel clear and confident in your practice. You will learn how to safely move into and out of common postures, understand simple alignment cues that make the shapes feel better in your body, and discover how props can support your practice.
We will also introduce you to the basics of meditation and pranayama (breathwork). These are powerful yet accessible tools to help calm the mind, reduce stress, and bring more ease into your everyday life.
This is not about perfect poses or flexibility. It is about helping you feel steady, safe, and comfortable so you can walk into any class knowing you belong.
